Mr. Woo is an accomplished executive in technology and finance. Mr. Woo is currently the Chief Strategy Officer for Tafi, the leading 3D avatar provider for mobile, gaming, and mixed reality. At Tafi, Mr. Woo is responsible for overseeing strategy, corporate development, and business alliances. Prior to Tafi, Mr. Woo was the CSO for Ossia, the global leader in wireless power at-a-distance. At Ossia, he successfully established strategic partnerships and closed engagements with Fortune 500 companies, institutional investors, and government agencies. Mr. Woo also served as CFO and head of corporate development at Sarcos Robotics, successfully raising capital from investors including Microsoft, Caterpillar, GE, and Schlumberger. Mr. Woo was also the former head of corporate development at Pendrell Corporation, head of business development for licensing at Intellectual Ventures, and a key member of the private equity investment team at Vulcan Capital, the family office of billionaire Paul G. Allen. He started his career in the mergers & acquisitions group at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Woo sits on the board of directors for Ossia and the advisory board for Kolaghassi Capital. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
